Westin Hotels teamed up with McSweeney’s in a campaign aimed at Americans who, tragically aren't using their allotted vacation days each year.

Taking a week off work to travel is great. Writing an 'out of office' (OOO) auto-response email isn’t so great. So Westin wanted to make it as easy as possible for travelers to make their OOO messages shine, and add a little fun to this usually mundane task.

In an integrated effort between BBH and DOMANI, the campaign empowered users to infuse a bit of humor in an otherwise benign'out of office' (OOO) message - making them as memorable as the vacation itself.

The OOO messages were primed and ready for social sharing - ultimately yielding an estimated $56,000,000 in earned media value.
